Seefeld – a village for any age
Lust for life and flair!
With its wide spectrum of activities for the whole family, Seefeld inspires you to enjoy the good life to the full. Take a stroll through the lively pedestrian area with its charming shops, or enjoy an evening of entertainment in the casino or in one of the many restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs.
Novices, experts and kiddies alike will love the award-winning cross-country ski trails, while Alpine skiers and snowboarders will delight in the three well-developed ski areas around the Rosshütte and Gschwandtkopf. The 18-hole Seefeld-Wildmoos championship golf course and the 9-hole Golfacademy in the village centre, ensure optimum playing pleasure, while the Olympia Sport and Congress Centre and the “Strandperle” bathing area at the Wildsee lake offer the perfect place for a refreshing swim after a day’s hiking in Seefeld’s breathtaking mountain countryside. From kids to parents to grandparents, Seefeld provides a truly unforgettable holiday experience for all generations!
“See and be seen” could be the motto of the holiday destination of Seefeld, renowned now for decades. Meet people walking through the romantic pedestrian district with its exquisite shops, at an enjoyable evening in the casino, in the many restaurants, bars, cafes and high-class discos or while walking through the unspoiled mountains, in the winter also on the slopes or the cross-country tracks.
Both hobby sportsmen and women and the professionals love the prize-winning cross-country tracks in the region. At events like the World Cup for Nordic Combination there is a real race atmosphere – and maybe you can watch one of the cross-country skiing stars training on the tracks in Seefeld. Seefeld has a lot of experience in both Nordic and Alpine skiing. Skiers and snowboarders have access to fantastically well-prepared slopes in two well-developed skiing areas with 23 lifts in Seefeld and 30 in the region.
The Olympiaregion Seefeld is one the few destinations that can offer two balanced seasons. Seefeld, at the heart of the region, presents itself both as a traditional village with idyllic, Tyrolean attractions and as forward thinking and modern. So there are also numerous attractive events in the summer such as the colourful Seefeld flower parade, the traditional handicrafts festival or the dance world championship that draw visitors to this village with the flair of a fashionable tourist metropolis. Just right for everyone who likes a touch of luxury on holiday.
